May Favourites ♥

Is it just me or does time seem to be going super fast lately? It feels like the other day i was writing up my April Favourites post! Well, May is one of my favourite months as it's my birthday, slam dunk and normally the weathers nice (i type as it's raining outside)! I feel like recently I've been so busy i haven't had time to try many new products but have fallen back in love with some I'd forgotten about!

Spring is the season where i love to wear bright colours, especially on my lips! Nothing says "Summer is almost here!" to me like rocking the bright lipstick. I fell back in love with my Revlon Colourburst Lip Butter in "Sweet Tart" when i was poking around in my make up collection. It has a lot of pigmentation, is very hydrating on the lips and lasts for hours. My Rimmel Kate Moss Collection Lipstick in "16" is a lovely pink almost coral colour which looks lovely sheer or opaque. I've been loving this since i got it and it's made me want to buy her whole collection! My Lush Bubblegum lip scrub is easily one of those products i couldn't live without, i suffer from really chapped lips and this lip scrub always helps. And it tastes of candyfloss when you lick it off! Is there anything better? I think not. My Soap and Glory "Glow All Out" highlighter was used so much this month, its unreal! I love this for a soft and subtle glow with an almost dewy finish. And lastly, I've been trying out the TRESemmé Split Remedy Leave in Treatment. It's no miracle worker but it does help make the ends of your hair look healthier! Which is always a win...

It's been a very hectic month! Leeds was great, i just wish I'd gotten time to shop! I had a lovely birthday and thank you to all the ladies who wished me a happy birthday on twitter! This is my last year as a teenager now!

Whats in your monthly favourites this month? Tell me in the comments!
Lots of love,

L'oreal Infallible Foundation Review ♥

As I'm super pale, I'm constantly trying out new foundations trying to find that one foundation that isn't too dark for me. I know plenty of people have similar problems especially in the drugstore/high street where there are less shades on offer usually.  To me the perfect foundation has great coverage, blends easily, doesn't look cakey and is pale enough for me.

I picked up the L'oreal Infallible foundation again recently, returning to it after i remembered how pale their "porcelain" shade was. L'oreal claims this foundation to last up to 16hours and helps fight the signs of make up melt downs! I love the shade "Porcelain" as it's the only really pale shade I've found in a high street brand that hasn't come up too dark on me or just been plain orange. I'd say this foundation us medium coverage which is what i prefer to use on an average day. The product is very thick, a little goes a very long way! It lasted a fair amount of time, not 16 hours, but a good 10 for me! My problem with this product is how easily it smudges and despite claiming to be "non-transfer" i find it all over my clothes and hands throughout the day! It's £12.29 for 30ml which is one of the more expensive high street foundations.

Overall, i like the product but it does smudge a bit too much to be one of my favourite foundations!

What do you think of this foundation? Tell me in the comments!
Lots of love,
Rosie xo

Weekend Away Make up Bag ♥

I'm so excited!  This is my favourite time of year as its almost my birthday and it's slam dunk time! I'm off tomorrow to Leeds to go to Slam Dunk Festival and i am so happy. A weekend of being somewhere different with cheaper drinks means I'm going to have so much fun. I had a bit of trouble trying to decide what to bring with me!

As I'll be wearing mostly full coverage make up as i would like to look my best so had to go for my MAC Studio Sculpt as it's my favourite foundation to get high coverage. My Collection 2000 lasting finish concealer goes everywhere with me as how would i hide the bags under my eyes with it?! My Mineralize Skin Finish Natural is my favourite powder and it doesn't feel cakey at all. I'm only taking three blushes, which for me is really great as i seem to have a slight obsession with blushes. I'm bringing NYX "Bourgeois Pig", Rimmel Lasting Finish "Live Pink" and the ELF Studio Contouring Blush/Bronzer. And last but not least, my trusty Rimmel Fix and Perfect Pro primer to keep my make up on all day!

For lips I'm only bringing my Apocalips Lip Lacquer in "Nova" and my Kate Moss Matte Lipstick in "101". I think I'm going to go with a pale pink lip and go for a more dramatic eye look as I'll be drinking all day and don't want to re-apply 10 times an hour!

For eyes I'm bringing my Naked2 palette, which i adore! My falsies mascara (which is my favourite mascara so far!) is also coming with me as well as Day2Nite by Rimmel which I'm testing out. My scandal eyes nude is a daily must for me as well as my Soap and Glory Supercat Eyeliner pen which is easily my favourite eyeliner ever.

Some other beauty bits I'm taking are:
Dry Shampoo
Body Spray and Perfume
Straighteners and Heat Spray

I wish the weather was nicer! All this wind and rain is really getting on my nerves :-(. Last year it was so sunny and hot we all got sunburnt, oops!

What do you bring on a weekend away? Tell me in the comments!
Lots of love,
Rosie xo

So...? Review ♥

When i was around twelve, i swear for perfume and body sprays all i ever used was So...? Kiss me, i thought it was so cute and what twelve year old doesn't want to smell like flowers and fruits?! Anyway, I recently have been trying out some of the new Rock N Roll Range from So...? As well as re-trying So...? Kiss me to see if i still love it as much as i did back then!

The new Rock N Roll range caught my eye immediately with the tattoo flash artwork on the boxes and bottles. I tried two from the range "So...? Enticing" and "So...? In Love". So...? Enticing comes in a darker pink bottle which smells so fresh and fruity! Not surprising seeing as it's top note contains Peach, Pineapple and Red Fruits. This smells so sweet on that you
cant help but smell yourself!
So...? In Love is a cute little baby pink colour on the bottle and this one was my favourite scent! Orange, Raspberry, Pear, Vanilla, Jasmine and Rose are just some of the beautiful scents that make this spray my favourite! Now, So...? Kiss me. I loved this scent so much i refused to try any other ones! Trying it again, it's not hard to see why i loved it so much. Its so sweet and fruity but not too in your face. I love being able to have a matching body spray to my Eau De Toilette too!

The Eau De Toilette's are £5.99 for 30ml while the body sprays are £1.69 for 70ml. The prices are extremely reasonable for great products which I'd easily pay more for. The quality of the sprays is so good but it's always a bonus to have a good product for a great price! I've loved these so much and i will definitely be checking out the other scents from the new range. I found the sprays had a fair amount of staying power too, that at the end of the day i could still easily smell it on myself, which is always a plus!  Their website is here. If you'd like to purchase some of their products they are sold in Superdrug, Asda, Boots, Tesco, Savers and Wilkinson.

What Body Spray/Perfumes do you love? Tell me in the comments!
Lots of love,

NOTD: OPI ElePhantastic Pink ♥

I never used to paint my nails much! I think until a few months ago, i owned about 3 nail polishes and i didn't care about chips or anything! And now? I seem to be addicted to buying more and more! I recently picked up some nail polishes from fragrance direct and this one has stolen my heart! At fragrance direct OPI Polishes cost £3.99 whereas they normally cost £13.95, bargain and a half! I picked up a couple OPI polishes as well as a few from other brands but this one is easily my new favourite!

Not the best paint job... I know!

I'd never tried an OPI polish before, I've been curious for a while about them as I've heard beauty bloggers raving about them but i couldn't justify the price as I've yet to finish a nail polish in my life (weird, i know!). The shade I'm wearing is "ElePhantastic Pink" which is a pretty bright pink. I'm happy with this product as the brush makes it easy to cover the whole nail with minimal strokes and dries fairly quickly. I put on my Rimmel Finishing Touch Ultra Top Coat as a top coat. Overall, I'd definitely buy more OPI Polishes but probably not at their full price!

Whats currently on your nails? Tell me in the comments!
Lots of love,
Rosie xo

Best of Brands: Rimmel ♥

Every brand has products that are amazing, i have yet to find a brand that doesn't have at least one product I've enjoyed using. Rimmel is one of my favourite brands in general and probably my favourite from the high street/drugstore! I think the quality of the products is so great for such low prices which is always a huge bonus for me! These are products that i think everyone should try of Rimmel's as they've just worked wonders for me.

The Wake Me Up Foundation is a foundation that not only is moisturising and medium coverage but also helps to help skin look less dull, read my full review of this foundation here as i just love this product. If you have dry skin and are looking for a light feeling foundation with good coverage this is the one for you. The Lasting Finish Soft Colour Blush in "Live Pink" is turning into a slight addiction, if I'm not careful I'd end up using this every day and neglecting my other blushes! Its a beautifully pigmented pink with soft golden shimmer which easily blends onto the skin. The Stay Matte powder is a big of a cult product as everyone has tried it and it seems everyone owns one! If you want a powder to help set your foundation which lasts all day with minimal touching up, i recommend this! The Glam Eyes Eye Shadow Quad in "Smokey Brun"  has four beautiful metallic neutral shades, which are soft and have no fall out. I love this quad for creating a smokey brown eye look and who doesn't need more metallic eye shadows? My favourite two lipsticks from Rimmel are both from the Kate Moss Collection, 101 is a beautiful matte dusty pink colour which has great colour pay off and despite being matte, isn't overly drying on the lips. 16 is a gorgeous pinky coral that glides onto the lips and leaves them feeling very hydrated as well as giving a beautiful colour. I also love the packaging of these with Kate's signature on the bullet, very pretty in my opinion! Last but not least, the Scandal Eyes Eyeliner in "Nude" which i use on my lower lash line. The pencil is very creamy and doesn't tug at your lashes as you apply it and helps brighten up the eye area!

L to R: Kate Moss Lipsticks, Lasting Finish Blush, Glam Eyes Quad and Scandal Eyes Nude

I do love other products from Rimmel such as the Apocalips but i had to narrow it down or this post would be way too long!

What are your Favourite products from Rimmel? Tell me in the comments
Lots of love,

Current Wishlist ♥

I seriously have an addiction to writing a list of all the make up or beauty related items I'd like to buy. Do any of you do it? or am i the only crazy one?

I feel like it helps me stop making impulse purchases, as if I've been wanting it for a while i can buy it and also to help me keep track of my money!  Now, i always seem to have this problem. I have a lot more face products, especially blushes, compared to eye products or even lip products! I don't know how or when this happened but I'm going to try to not buy as many face products because I'd like more eye shadows and lipsticks and glosses!  Does anyone else get this problem, where they have more of one type of product than anything else? I need to make my collection even!

My Top 6 Picks from my Current Wishlist

I'm not going to lie, it was pretty hard to just pick a handful of products from the list of over 50 i want to buy/try but i managed it in the end!

I've been wanting to try the NARS Albatross Highlighter for a while as i love highlighters and I'm always on the lookout for that perfect product.... The Urban Decay Primer Potion is one of those bbloggers favourites. It seems like everyone but me has tried it and i love my eye shadows so, why not?!  The Balm Balm Jovi Rockstar Palette catches my eye for a lot of reasons. First of all, that name is absolutely awesome! Second of all, I've heard so many great things about the quality of the products in this palette, which has 12 eye shadows, 2 lip/cheek creams, a highlighter (which is actually MaryLoumanizer apparently, another reason to buy it!) and a blush!  All that in adorable packaging? Count me in!  The L'oreal Infallibe Foundation is pretty much one of the only drugstore/high street foundations I've found to come anywhere near pale enough for my skin tone, which is hard to find!
The Soap and Glory The Fab Pore Hot Cloth Cleanser sounds great to me, I love the Soap and Glory brand and I'd love to try some more of their products, I've heard good things about the product which makes me want to try it that much more!  Last but not least, is the Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation which I've been desperately wanting since i heard allthatglitters21 talking about it! Full coverage, easily blend able and doesn't feel heavy on the skin? Is there anything bad about it? I want to find out!

What products are you wishing for? Tell me in the Comments!

Lots of love,

Happy Birthday GlossyBox: May GlossyBox ♥

I don't know about you, but i love getting a new beauty box every month! Its a way of trying new products sometimes from brands you'd never even heard of before. Its also a way to try new things on a budget as with high end products, i hate buying something expensive and it not working for me! So now i always try to test products out first before i take the plunge!

The beauty box i order is GlossyBox. GlossyBox is £10 per box, plus post and packaging. They normally come in a cute little pastel pink box with black and pink flowers on the inside (quick confession: i keep my old GlossyBoxes to store skincare in!). Now, this month GlossyBox turned 2! Which is great (and i had the luck to win one of their competitions too, woo hoo!) and over the last few months I've been receiving the box I've always been happy with the products.

I'm very curious to try out the Jelly Pong Pong Fairy Lashes Mascara. I loved the Lip blush of their i received in a previous GlossyBox so i hope this works as well as that! The Headline Colours Nail polish  in Glamour goes down well as I'm always happy to see a nail polish to add to my ever growing collection! The La Roche Posay Anthelios XL is a product I'm very much looking forward to trying, as I'm a pale girl, in the summer high SPF is a must for me and it says its great for sensitive skin, so I'll have to put that to the test. Next is the Beautiful Movement Mixing medium, I was a bit disappointed just by the size of the product, it's so small, only 2.5g! Stone beauty's Jasmine Body Lotion is next which is a pretty good sample size which smells so fresh that i really can't wait to try it out! Lastly, GlossyBox added in their own little treat from their own brand which is a book of 16 travel size nail files! Perfect to pop in the handbag!

All in all, the box was alright this month but i personally found last months box a lot more exciting, at least on a first impressions basis!

What did you think of the 2nd Birthday Box? Tell me in the comments!
Lots of love,
Rosie xo

Liebster Award ♥

Hey guys, the lovely Ellis from Ellis Rose tagged me for this post! Basically, it goes around and you tag people to answer questions that you create all to get everyone more exposure!  Please check out her blog as i think it's gorgeous and i love the way she writes:-)

The rules:
1. Each blogger should answer the questions the tagger has set for you.
2. Choose 11 new bloggers to pass the award onto and link them in your post.
3. Create 11 new questions for the chosen bloggers.
4. Go back to their page and tell them about the award.
5. Each blogger should post 11 Random facts about themselves.
6. No tag-backs!

1. What was the first ever make up product you bought? I really cannot remember! Probably like a Claire's palette that was all rainbow colours? God, back in the days where i thought it looked good to have just one shadow all over my lid yikes!

2. Have you attended any blogger events? What was your favourite? Nope, not yet sadly!

3. What is your favourite thing about blogging? For me, blogging is a hobby, i love anything beauty related. I haven't got any friends to talk to about it so i created a blog so i could talk to other people who feel the same way about beauty items as me, so far my favourite part of it has been talking to so many lovely girls who are shopping addicts too!

4. Do you like to make any DIY products? If so, what's your favourite? Sometimes i make my own coffee/sugar body scrub, when i can't afford to buy my favourite Soap and Glory body scrub!

5. What is your favourite blush?  This is such a hard question for me, as i'm pretty sure blush is the thing i have the most of! I'd say either NYX Powder Blush in "Bourgeois Pig" or my MAC blush in "Fleur Power"!

6. Why did you start blogging?  I've been watching beauty guru's and reading beauty blogs online for so long now! I loved it. I never had the confidence to talk about it myself until one day after realising how bored my boyfriend is with make up talk decided to make a blog and here we are!

7. What products are worth the hype that you use on a daily basis?  Personally, my Urban Decay Naked2 Palette. Its easily one of those products every blogger either loves or can't wait to try. The 12 shades are all gorgeous and it's easy to create a subtle daytime look but also to create a much more dramatic  night look!

8. What are you favourite blogs?  I love love love Emily Noel's blog over at Beauty Broadcast  as i think she explains things so well and she uses a great mix of products from high end and high street/drugstore! I love Tattooed Tealady, as whenever i read her posts it makes me want to go out and spend money!  I have so many to list but i don't want to put too many!

9. How do you juggle blogging with daily life? I work 4am starts monday to friday so at least my afternoons are free to write posts and interact with other bbloggers. The only problem i have is that this means i can't join in with the #bbloggers chats :( as i have to be up so early...

10. What are your favourite spring summer essentials? Bright colours! I love rocking a bright eye or lip in the spring/summer, as the weather is normally a whole lot nicer and i love matching the flowers! Moisturizers are my saviour this time of year though!

11. What is your blog URL named after? Me, kind of! My name is Rosie and my middle name is Louise. The love bit? I'm not sure, i just wanted something to add to it and i thought it sounded girly/cute.

11 Random Facts!
I can't cook to save my life but i bake great cakes!
I have a scar on my eyelid from headbutting a glass and a bar... from when i was 3! ouchies :-(
I'm forever singing and dancing, either though i suck at both.
I don't like sweet things much, give me a chinese takeaway over a chocolate box anyday!
I've had 18 piercings in total but only have 8 in now
I have myalgic encephalomyelitis and it ruined my life when i first got it at age 15.
As a child, my favourite film was "Jaws" and i wanted to be a marine biologist until i was 13
I'm addicted to caffeine and really can't go to work without energy drinks or a cup of tea or 10
I'm beyond scared of slugs and snails, they actually make me cry
I could sleep for England, I'm that lazy!
I love playing monopoly but i hate losing!

My Nominations

My Questions
Whats a product you wouldn't ever repurchase?
If you could only wear one piece of make up (eg. foundation, mascara) what would it be?
whats your favourite drugstore/high street brand?
Neutral or Bright eyeshadows?
Choose one: Smokey eye or Red lips?
All time favourite product?
Any products that aren't worth the hype?
What do you love about bblogging?
Do you see it as a job or hobby?
Favourite Mascara?
One holy grail product?

Send me a link to your post please ladies, if you do one! As i'd love to read your answers to my questions! Anyway i hope you're all enjoying the weather, it's dreadful here! Where's the sun gone?!

Sugar Skull Attempt♥

I love the look of sugar skull make up. I think it's so creative and gorgeous. I've always wanted to try to recreate a look but never had the confidence to try but earlier i was bored (never good around make up!) and decided to have a try!

For a first attempt, it's not bad. I used only make up, no face paints as i don't own any!
So i only used eyeliner, eyeshadow and pigments! Pretty happy with the result anyway!

Relaxing/Pampering Night in: My Essentials!

I don't know about you, but i work super hard all week! I work really unsociable hours and by the end of the day, I'm feeling worn out and just very blah. I love to pamper. I love having bubble baths and painting my nails and just looking after myself when I've had a bad day! Using those "luxury" products is a great way to make yourself feel great. So now i dedicate a day a week to being my pampering night!

Soap and Glory Scrub 'Em and Leave 'Em body buff
Montagne Jeunesse Chocolate Face Mask
Aussie 3 Minute Miracle
Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body ButterCream
Forever Flawless Diamond Infused Facial Peeling Gel

All of the products I've chose to include in this post are product i either love, feel very luxurious or just work super well at relaxing me after a bad day! You can switch them out and use other products but these work so well.

I like to have hot steamy baths and i like long baths. To me nothing says relaxing like laying in a bubble bath with a book with candles all around me. I love using my Soap and Glory bath products for my pampering nights as I'm a bit obsessed with their products. Especially the Sugar Crush ButterCream which feels so thick and creamy and absorbs into the skin really well, with the added bonus of it smelling absolutely beautiful. Deep conditioning my hair is something i have to do every week to keep it in good condition with all the bleaching i have to endure! Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Frizz Remedy is my favourite kind as it smells beautiful and it helps tone down my frizz! I love using face masks and yes, i do laugh at how i look with them on! I like to try out all the different kinds too! When I'm out of the bath i use my Forever Flawless Facial Peeling Gel, which i got in London for like £40 when it retails in America for a whopping $179.99!! Wow! I love it and it does feel luxurious but i couldn't justify spending that money! I like to finish up watching a favourite movie with a nice cup of tea to end my night.

What do you do after a bad day? Do you pamper yourself? Tell me in the comments!

Lots of Love,
Rosie xo

Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation ♥

I've said it time and time again but I'll say it again: Rimmel is easily my favourite drugstore/high street brand
I love almost every product I've tried of theirs and i look forward to every new release they have.

I have a major problem as being super pale, i can find it quite difficult to find a foundation that isn't too dark. Most of the ones I've tried have been the lightest available but still much too dark for me! I like medium to full coverage foundations as i have freckles and i do like to cover them.

Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation in Ivory

The Wake Me Up Foundation really sounded like the perfect product for me. I work very early mornings and it's resulted in my skin looking very dull recently (so not a good look!) and this foundation claims to helpsfight the look of tired skin. The Foundation claims to "Give an instant flawless, natural looking finish". This product is very moisturising which i love as i have very dry skin. A good advantage to this product is  it feels very comfortable, almost like you're not wearing any make up whatsoever. It's easily buildable and does leave a very lovely, natural dewy finish. For the fact is covers my imperfections well, blends easily and feels very moisturising on my skin i like the foundation. My only problem is that the lightest shade "Ivory" is still slightly too dark for my skintone, but I'm yet to find a high street brand with a big enough shade range! If you have skin that tends to be dry and would like a foundation that gives medium coverage and doesn't feel heavy, I'd defiently recommend this one!

Which means, I'm still in search of a light enough foundation... Wish me luck!

Have you got pale skin too? What Foundations are light enough for you?

lots of love,
Rosie xo

The Highlight Wars ♥

For me, a Highlighter is an essential product, It makes the skin look glowing and helps to draw attention away from problem area's. You put a highlight on the places that the light naturally hits: collarbones, middle of your forehead, above the cheekbones, the chin and on your cupids bow. It can really help finish a look and makes you look that little bit more glammed up!

I love all three of the Highlighters I'm talking about today.  Today i found out how hard it is to take a photo of a swatch of highlighter! So difficult but so worth it...

Elf Studio Blush in "Gotta Glow"
I've always sworn by this. The powder is an off white almost yellow in the pan and leaves a soft golden glow to your skin. I've found this also looks lovely as an inner corner highlight on my eyes. The formula isn't flaky and there isn't much fallout. It cost £3.75 for 4.75g which is the smallest highlight I'll be talking about today. The packaging is alright, the Elf Studio Packaging is all black. The only problem i have with this product, is how easily it shatters, which happened to me when i was putting it away once and has made the process of using this product slightly messy!

Soap and Glory "Glow All Out" Luminizing Face Powder
I picked this up a few weeks ago, while the Soap and Glory cosmetics were on offer at Boots. I'd been wanting to try some more highlighting products and saw this and fell in love. Its a beautiful pink almost coral colour in the pan which transfers well to the skin. It will set you back £11 for 7.5g which is a large size product. This leaves a subtle dewy sheen on the skin but is probably more suited to those with slightly darker skin than me, as I'm so fair! The product is extremely long wearing so you don't need a touch up throughout the day.  Soap and Glory packaging is always cute with silly and fun names.

Make Up Academy "Undress Your Skin"
I kept seeing so many bbloggers talking about this and i eventually caved and purchased one to see what all the fuss is about. MUA is a brand that to me, are rather hit and miss, and i hadn't tried anything from the new "Undressed" collection. At £3 for 7.5g this is the cheapest but also happens to have the most product. Always a plus! The colour is a very light iridescent pink which has a fair bit of shimmer. It's slightly more obvious than the previous two but applied with a light hand it could still be very subtle. I thought this product was very well suited towards paler skin tones. The formula really surprised me, i expected something chalky or flakey but it's actually very soft almost creamlike. Very Impressed!

Have you tried these products? Which one is your favourite? Tell me in the comments!

Lots of love,
Rosie xo
