L'oreal Infallible Foundation Review ♥

As I'm super pale, I'm constantly trying out new foundations trying to find that one foundation that isn't too dark for me. I know plenty of people have similar problems especially in the drugstore/high street where there are less shades on offer usually.  To me the perfect foundation has great coverage, blends easily, doesn't look cakey and is pale enough for me.

I picked up the L'oreal Infallible foundation again recently, returning to it after i remembered how pale their "porcelain" shade was. L'oreal claims this foundation to last up to 16hours and helps fight the signs of make up melt downs! I love the shade "Porcelain" as it's the only really pale shade I've found in a high street brand that hasn't come up too dark on me or just been plain orange. I'd say this foundation us medium coverage which is what i prefer to use on an average day. The product is very thick, a little goes a very long way! It lasted a fair amount of time, not 16 hours, but a good 10 for me! My problem with this product is how easily it smudges and despite claiming to be "non-transfer" i find it all over my clothes and hands throughout the day! It's £12.29 for 30ml which is one of the more expensive high street foundations.

Overall, i like the product but it does smudge a bit too much to be one of my favourite foundations!

What do you think of this foundation? Tell me in the comments!
Lots of love,
Rosie xo

  2. It's annoying that it's so smudgey :( I was gonna try it but I think I might give it a miss now, I would definitely get it all over my hands and clothes! x x

  3. Ah you're just like meeeeee <3 I'm very pale and I have this foundation, and it's the perfect colour BUT it's not the best foundation :( I don't think it gives me the best finish, it clings to dry patches and as you said, transfers so bad! I have found another AMAZING match, the Rimmel Match Perfection foundation in Light Porcelain, the colour is sooooo right, it's quite dewy, and I've been really impressed so far! xxx

  4. I love how long this product says that it last - But I found the reality rather different. Thankfully I only tested this product out I think I'd have been even more gutted if I'd parted with money for it. I cannot deal with foundation that gets everywhere either :( I wear far too much white for that!

Thanks for uploading your own review, nice to know I'm not alone in my annoyances of this product!

Great blog too - Now following! If you fancy popping by to say hello I'm currently running a MAC giveaway over at my blog http://haul-oholic.blogspot.no/

    1. I always take long lasting claims with a pinch of salt as they never do last as long as they say.
