My Slimfast Diet: Week 4! ♥

Hello beautiful people, today is the 4th week update for my Slimfast diet. Now i've been doing it over a month, i've noticed a few 'little' changes which are making me smile. My stomach is definitely getting flatter and i don't even get the cravings for junk food anymore! The only thing i've found that's kept me going is: not denying myself anything. Everything is fine in moderation, i love pasta and i've been eating a lot of pasta meals (mostly ready meals but a few home made recipes too!). I'm not a big sweet person anyway but Special K Cereal Bar in Chocolate and Mint is super yummy and sweet and only 90calories per bar.

I've decided to carry on slimfast until i've lost the weight. Mainly because, i've tried other diets before and never found they worked for me! Now i've found one that does work for me, i'll be staying on that one. I'm also joining the gym tonight - i want to start swimming a couple of times a week and to do a couple of sessions a week after work to help lose a bit more weight and to tone up. 

I'm going out tonight for my Dad's birthday (for a chinese, my favourite!) but i'll be good and not over do it. I've found little hot chocolate sachets in plenty of flavours like mint, orange, caramel and white chocolate with only 35-40calories each, which are tasty and i'm not sure why but hot drinks always seem to fill me up! If i fancy something to 'eat' at lunchtime at work, i have a Chicken Noodle Soup in a cup from Sainsburys, 59calories per sachets and 4 sachets are only 80p! Bargain!

I've now lost a total of. 11lbs! I'm now on just over ten stone! I'm really happy :-) only another 10lbs to go!

  1. Congrats lovely! I definitely think you should stay on it if its working. I found that nothing was working for me until I tried this!
    It has changed my life, I am always thinking 'do I need those calories!?' and my portion control is amazing compared to what it used to be!
    I haven't managed to pluck up the courage to join the gym just yet, but I think once I've lost a bit more weight I might do.

  3. I love the slim fast shakes i bought a few recently when they were on offer. usually i have one for breakfast but the rest of my diet is appalling. I keep loosing motivation :( ( I love baking too much)great blog, new follower ! X
