Argan Oil Hydrating Hair Mask! ♥

I know that on this blog, 90% of what i review is make up. Truth is, I'm a fussy person. I know what i like and when i find a product that works for me, i stay loyal. But recently, I've been picking up a lot more haircare products to try.

As I've been dying my hair for the last 9 years and bleaching it for the last 4, my hair has had it's fair share of damage. Some of that through the dye and some because for a few years, i did nothing but straighten my hair obsessively just to 'tease' it so i looked like Russell brand. So, as a result of the punishment I've inflicted upon my hair the last decade, it's damaged. I had a lot of hair cut off a year ago, which took off most of the damaged parts but now I'm on a mission to keep my hair as healthy as possible.
I love hair masks as much as i love face masks. Whenever i use one, i feel really relaxed and pampered. Also, i found the effects of a hair mask are much easier to feel/see than a face mask!

I found this Argan Oil hair mask in Home Bargains for the bargain (hehe) price of £1. Yes you read that right. My expectations weren't particularly high due to the price (shame on me!) but i was so impressed with this mask. I use this once a week now, applying to wet, freshly washed hair and leave for about 5-10 minutes. The texture is very thick and silky soft and it's easy to apply to my hair. I always avoid the roots of my hair and just focus on the lengths and the ends as well as my fringe. It's easy to rinse out and as soon as you touch your hair you can feel the difference.

After using this, my hair is softer and healthier - both in looks and texture. It helps add shine too which is always a plus. It doesn't weigh down your hair as it's easy to wash out. This product has easily become my number 1 hair mask I've tried (even beating the Macadamia Deep Repair Masque, which i never thought possible) and for only £1 it's such a steal.

Have you tried this product? What did you think? Tell me in the comments!
Lots of love,
Rosie xo

  2. I very nearly picked up an Argan Oil mask the other day but wasn't sure, think I might have to invest now! I wrecked my hair with bleach and backcombing too a few years back so i've been on a haircare mission ever since then. Love a good hair mask.

  4. I've just picked up the hair oil from this brand (I've also tried the shampoo, conditioner and the mask and love them all!) but for me the oil is the stand out product and I'd definitely recommend if you're after a new hair oil!

  5. Hi Rosie, it is a steal at £1 but unfortunately my hair doesn't like it :( I have thick, curly, dry hair and it just wasn't rich enough for me. For anyone else with hair like mine a better alternative would be this super thick argan oil hair mask.
