MUA Matte Lipstick in Peachy Keen! ♥

I recently posted a review of one of the new MUA Matte Lipsticks here, and i wasn't too impressed to say the least. I bought these two shades at the same time while on a lipstick binge a few weeks ago.

Like with 'Pouty Pink' i wasn't happy with this product. Once again, the formula was so dry it tugged at my lips when applied. The only thing that stops this is if i apply a lip balm beforehand but that ruins the matte effect. Although the shade is called "Peachy Keen" it's actually more of a peachy coral, which admittedly is a really lovely colour. The one thing this shade has which Pouty Pink didn't is that it's actually got very good colour pay off, which is a pity as if the formula was creamy or soft I'd wear this everyday! But sadly, this lipstick clung to all the dry parts of my lips and emphasised them a lot. These are the first MUA products I've tried that have really disappointed me as usually i love their releases.

Have you tried this product? What did you think? Tell me in the comments!
Lots of love,
Rosie xo

  4. I completely agree!! Havent tried this shade, but have a pink one I bought a couple of weeks ago. I find it physically painful to apply. Like its stretching my lips. Such a shame as I'm a fan of MUA in general. Lovely post though hun xx

    1. Their regular lipsticks are really lovely - it's just the matte one's i've had trouble with! I do recommend trying the brand as they have some holy grails for such a low price

  7. Oh I'm sorry you didn't get on with this lipstick too well. I have this and love it but I always have to use a strong lip scurb first so maybe that might help.

  9. I love the red and the berry colour from this range, I picked up this one too and the formula of this one is just COMPLETELY different from the red/berry shades, I don't know why but this one is just way too drying that I've never even got to wear it. The colour is so stunning too :(
