The MAC Tag! ♥

Hi Guys! I was tagged by the lovely Ellis from elrbx who is one of my closest blogging friends to do this tag!

How long have you been using MAC?
I'd say about 2 years now!

What was your first product from MAC?
I think it was the Studio Sculpt foundation and Studio Fix Powder!

What is your favourite product?
Ooooh this is a toughy! I think the Paint Pot in 'Bare Study' as it is just such a beautiful colour and makes the perfect base for an eye look.

What is your least favourite product?
Probably the Studio Fix powder - which i do like it's just a bit heavy for every day wear!

Do you own a MAC Pro Card?

What is your foundation shade?
NW15! I'm a ghost!

I love love love Electra! Such a gorgeous shimmery silver - really lovely pop of colour!

Oooh, i'm not the biggest fans of their lipsticks! I do like them but i don't think they are as good as everyone makes out they are - but i love Sunny Seoul in the summer - gorgeous muted coral!

I haven't tried any.

Haven't tried any liner's either!

Nope, haven't tried any of these either!

Nail Lacquer?
Dam i am a terrible bblogger clearly! I haven't tried any of these either :(

Pro Products?
Nope :(

17 The Cheek of It! ♥

Hi again guys! Today's a review of a product that as soon as i saw - i just had to try out! You probably know how much i hoard blushes - i have way too much considering i only apply it to one set of cheeks! So obviously i couldn't resist trying this as it's a whole new way of applying. I mean, a stamp?!

17 is a brand i don't really buy much from - i have a couple of their products and haven't been entirely impressed but i still like to try new products often. I picked this up in the shade 'The Cheek of it!' which made me giggle as i was in Boots! I do like the idea but it can be a bit fiddly. It can pick up a lot of product and i end up getting my blush brush out again after anyway just to blend. I couldn't blend with the sponge - too big and bulky!

I love the colour though a proper muted coral - which looks super flattering on the cheeks! It does last a while though - after applying this at 7am it's still showing until around 2pm when it starts to fade!  I'd recommend trying this as if you're better with fiddly stuff, you'll love this but sadly, it's a little too 'gimmicky' for me!

Have you tried this product? What did you think?
Lots of love,

Urban Decay Naked3 Palette! ♥

Hello lovelies! Long time no blog eh? Sorry for my terrible effort recently... As i spoke about in my last blog post i had a very down time about my blog - feeling like i wasn't good enough and all that. But I'm back and I'm going to be trying harder than ever :-)

Today's post is about the amazing Naked3 Palette from Urban Decay. I've loved Urban Decay products ever since i first bought myself the Naked2. Their eyeshadows are easily my favourite from the high end. Naked3 has a lot more rose gold and pinky tones to it which I've seen a lot of people didn't really like - but personally i love it. The colours are really girly and the colour range in the palette is great as you can get so many different looks from it.

As with all Urban Decay eye shadows the formula is creamy, smooth and long lasting (and not to mention, packed with colour). I have a few favourites from the palette like 'Factory' a gorgeous chocolate brown, 'Blackheart' a black with red glitter and 'Nooner' a lovely matte taupe.

If you haven't already got this palette, you seriously need it!

Have you tried this product? Tell me in the comments!
Lots of love,
Rosie xo

'To Blog or not to blog?" Life Update #1

Since starting this blog over a year ago - i've wrestled with the idea of what content to write. My blog is a beauty blog but i've been wondering about adding some personal/lifestyle posts in here and there. I mean, i want you lovely people to know who is behind the posts. I hope you've read my 'about me' and know the basics. But here is my first ever life update...

I started a new job in January - and i've been loving it. I love working in sales, i'm 100% a sales person at heart. After leaving my old job because of moral issues i luckily found my perfect job 2 days later!

After two and a half years together i finally got my first slow dance with my boyfriend at his cousins wedding last weekend. I love weddings, they make me excited for my own - sad i know. Also hanging out with his family who i adore, is a major added bonus.

Now onto my main topic, my terrible lack of posting recently. I'm sorry if anyone actually realised! With starting a new job, organising stuff and family issues i've barely had the time to put out any posts i'm proud of. I mean, i don't want to write below par posts - if i don't like it i delete it. I'd rather not post personally. This has made me go into a bit of a blogging funk as i like to call it. Because i've had no time to blog, i've lacked motivation and ended up with serious writers block.

I love blogging - and have since i started last January. But sometimes i wonder how others can balance a 9-5 job, a other half and even a social life and still have time to post detailed and quality blog posts. Maybe it's just me, but i'm hoping one day soon i work out how to balance my life out and share my time out equally.

March Haul! ♥

Hi guys! Sorry about being really bad at posting recently. Working full time means i sadly miss all the sunshine so i find it really hard to take blog photo's! I promise I'll get better as I'm seriously considering buying some studio softbox lighting...

This weekend I've had a little spend as it was payday and i haven't bought any new make up or beauty bits recently! I didn't pick up much - just some much 'needed' essentials...

I picked up the Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub as i have a wedding to attend this weekend and need my legs to not glow in the dark... I've loved this for ages as it smells gorgeous and really helps buff away any dry skin! I grabbed the Boots Botanics Rosewater Toning Spritz as I've yet to use a toner? I'm not sure how I'll like it but look out for the review! Now onto make up! I finally picked up one of the new Revlon Matte Balms '205' which looks like a really lovely 'my-lips-but-better' shade. Perfect for work i think! I also repurchased the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer as i do really like it for any blemishes! I bought yet another foundation... the new Mayelline SuperStay Better Skin which intrigued me so much, i just had to grab it! Lastly i picked up the 17 Cheek Stamp in 'The Cheek of it' which looked so different, i had to try it!

What have you bought lately? Tell me in the comments!
Lots of love,

Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter "Candy Apple" ♥

I'm a big fan of the Revlon Lip Butters. I have been since i first tried one and won't stop loving them anytime soon. I suffer from very dry and chapped lips which some lipsticks can highlight and make obvious. When looking for a lip product, that means, the make-or-break point is whether or not it's moisturizing.

The Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter in Candy Apple is a beautiful true, bright red. The colour is very wearable as although it's bright, it's a little bit less in your face than most lipsticks this shade! The formula is fantastic and i've raved about it plenty of times before. They last ages on the lips and have very decent colour pay off - especially for a balm-like product. They apply to the lips so easily as they're so creamy. Thankfully, they're not sticky because sticky lip products + awful windy British weather = diaster! For a beautiful wash of colour, that stands out and keeps your lips hydrated, i can't recommend this enough. Once again Revlon, your ColorBurst line has impressed me and i shall be buying even more soon!

Have you tried this product? What did you think? Tell me in the comments!
Lots of love,
Rosie xo
