I'm more than slightly obsessed with haircare products. I dye my hair blonde and have been dying my hair for over ten years now, so i need to keep my hair in good condition these days. We all find holy grail products but with hair you have to factor in so many things: hair type, colour and length.
My main goal for haircare is keeping my hair hydrated, blonde and soft. I've recently had my roots done too so i need to keep on top with the colour now!
When it comes too brightening products for blonde hair, my go-to product is the Pro:Voke Daily Maintenance Shampoo which i just reviewed here. This helps keep my hair looking lighter and to stop my hair from getting any awful brassy tones. I always then use another shampoo and I'm currently loving the Macadamia Oil Extract Shampoo. I love using hair products with Macadamia oil in them as they help keep your hair feeling super soft and silky. This helps add some moisture back into my hair as well as removing any products that I've used. I always prefer to use a shampoo/conditioner combination, so I'm currently using the Macadamia Oil Extract Conditioner which leaves my hair feeling soft and looking a lot healthier after a few days of use. I don't wash my hair every day as this dries my hair out, but i normally wash it every 2 or 3 days.
Once I'm out of the bath/shower and have towelled dried my hair so it's just a little damp, i always use a few pumps of the John Frieda Sheer Blonde Brightening Oil elixir which keeps the lengths and ends of my hair looking healthier and keeping up the blonde shine for longer. This absorbs easily into my hair too and doesn't feel sticky at all.
I don't use heat styling often but whenever i do, i always use a heat protector. This drastically improves on the quality of your hair and I'm currently using the TRESemme Heat defence Styling Spray which also helps fight any frizz too.
