Revlon ColorStay Foundation Dry/Normal Skin! ♥

Recently, on a #bbloggers chat i asked what everyone's favourite high street/drugstore foundation. Quite a few people said the Revlon ColorStay. I've tried a few Revlon foundations over the years. My ideal foundation would be medium coverage, build able and good match for my skin tone. Of course, i rushed out to buy and try the foundation...

Revlon ColourStay Foundation "150 Buff" (£12.49 Boots) is a foundation I've really enjoyed wearing. It feels light on the skin, like I'm not wearing anything. It blends well and easily. The colour 'Buff' is the second lightest shade and matches my skin really well. Revlon claims this will last 24 hours, i personally wouldn't say 24 hours but a long time yes. I apply my make up at around 7am and don't get home tip after 6pm every day and this is still on with no signs of fading.

The finish is really lovely - it's not overly dewy but it looks very natural. The coverage is definitely medium but I've found it's easily build able to high coverage. I love that they have two different formula's for dry skin and oily skin as sometimes foundations can dry my skin out more. At £12.49 it's at the higher end of high street, but the quality is lovely. If you want a medium coverage foundation for A/W and have dry skin like me, give this a try!

Have you tried this product? What did you think? Tell me in the comments!
Lots of love,
Rosie xo

  1. I've never tried a Revlon foundation but I'm always hearing such good things about them. This one sounds lovely and that's quite an impressive staying power :)

  2. From an opposite view - I have really oily/ combination skin so I have the other version of the foundation and it is one of my favourites without a doubt! My favourite thing is that it just stays put all day!!
