Make Up Revolution Atomic Lipstick Collection! ♥

Once again, the lovely guys over at Make Up Revolution have released yet another lovely collection. Just in time too. Halloween is just around the corner and with this release and the Give Them Nightmares eyeshadow palette being released recently too, MakeUp Revolution have given me some inspiration for this halloween. 

Now, as you've probably guessed, i have more than a slight soft spot for bright and bold lipsticks. MakeUp Revolution's Atomic lipstick collection also their brightest and most intense red lipstick yet. It's hard to believe MakeUp Revolution have only been around for six months or so! 

The Atomic lipstick collection has five shades: 'Atomic Ruby' intense red, 'Make me Magnificent' shimmery purple, 'Make it Right' a deep purple, 'Serpent' a jade green and 'Make me Tonight' a deep brown. 

My favourite shades are Atomic Ruby (obviously) and Make me Magnificent. The lipsticks have the same formula as all of their £1 lipsticks - creamy, pigmented and moisturising. I found using these the best way of getting the perfect lip was to apply a layer, blot with a tissue to remove any excess then to apply another layer. I haven't had a problem with these smudging although I've used Atomic Ruby a lot more than the others. I'll definitely be using these lipsticks in some way or another in a Halloween look when i decide what i'm doing for Halloween and what i'm dressing up as. These lasts a few hours though when they start to fade, it's obvious as they are quite bright! At only £1 these are great quality at such an affordable price. 

I can't wait for Halloween now!

  1. I can't wait to buy these once I've dyed my hair as it is a raspberry brown mess at the moment and as soon as I go dark deep brown I can't wait to use these! They look amazing!
